Tropic Skincare Little Cracker of Joy The Butterbalm Collection

Treat yourself or a loved one to a Little Cracker of Joy from Tropic Skincare.

Immerse yourself in a soothing, comforting skincare experience with their Little Cracker of Joy Butterbalm Collection (£24).

Presented exquisitely in a vibrant, bright cracker you’ll find a trio of luxurious treats to pamper and nourish your skin in an array of enticing scents.

Open your festive cracker and you’ll discover three gorgeous butterbalms captured within cute, mini glass jars along with the sweetest little wooden spoon for fuss-free dispensing.

Staying true to the holiday season, each balm has been created with an indulgent, gourmand scent to tempt and delight.

If you love sweet, aromatic scents then prepare to have your mind blown.

This lush set contains butterbalms in Almond Matcha, Coffee Hazelnut and White Chocolate Coconut.

Sounding and smelling good enough to eat, you probably actually could eat these balms as they contain all food grade ingredients, however I wouldn’t recommend it.

These bad boys are meant to be applied to dry, chapped skin to soothe, nourish and repair while cocooning you in their wonderfully warm, addictive scent.

Perfect for popping on your lips to keep them kissably soft, these multi-purpose balms can be used pretty much anywhere that requires a little TLC.

Think cuticles, elbows, knees and dry skin patches.

These balms are so much more than just a gorgeously scented treat as each jar features its own fabulous array of skincare qualities.

The Hazelnut Mocha balm smells like a festive latte and features coffee extract which not only smells aromatically rich and fragrant, it contains antioxidants in the caffeine to protect your skin from environmental aggressors and antimicrobials to protect from germs.

Almond Matcha reminds me of marzipan and contains green tea, rich in both caffeine and antioxidants to help retain moisture for long-lasting nourishment.

White Chocolate Coconut (which smells like warm, comforting hot chocolate) is packed with organic cocoa butter which contains natural fats like omega 3 and vitamin E to deeply moisturise and plump your skin.

Thick, rich and creamy, the balms melt in the warmth of your hands, releasing their delicious aromas and imparting a powerful hit of hydration to dry skin.

On your lips they offer a delicate sheen and addictive flavour while on your body they instantly quench dry, tight skin.

Non greasy and quickly absorbed, your skin is left feeling gorgeously soft and smooth while the relaxing, warming scents linger like an invisible veil to delight your senses long after the initial application.

Their cute, compact sizes mean they’re great for popping in your bag for on-the-go top ups and when they smell as good as they do, trust me, you’re going to be dipping into them very frequently!

Tropic Skincare’s Little Cracker of Joy The Butterbalm Collection is available now and costs £24.

L’Occitane Delightful Body Balm

The Almond collection from L’Occitane is one of my all-time favourite collections across all brands.

I adore its soft, sweet, sensual, aromatic fragrance that instantly helps to relax and unwind my tired body and mind.

You can imagine then how thrilled I was to see that they have recently launched a new Delightful Body Balm within the Almond family.

This decadent and rich balm is perfect for dry, dehydrated skin thanks to its incredible nourishing properties yet is not at all greasy.

Housed within a chic, mint green tin this balm has been formulated with a blend of almond butter and almond oil from Provence.

It melts onto your skin, offering instant comfort and nourishment to your skin while its soft, delicious scent envelopes your senses.

Despite its name, I’d say the balm is actually more of a body butter in texture. Rich and luxurious in texture it literally glides onto your skin, leaving behind its familiar aroma.

The soft cream is quickly absorbed, leaving your skin feeling pampered and gorgeous without a hint of greasiness.

Its not just me that gives it a big thumbs up though, in a satisfaction test of 34 women after 4 weeks 100% said that their skin felt nourished, supple, ultra soft and comfortable.

If you’re skin requires a little more TLC than just a body lotion then this aptly named Delightful Body Balm is the product for you.

L’Occitane’s Delightful Body Balm is available now and costs £26 for 100ml.

Botanicals Organic Body Balms

Winter is the perfect time to treat your body to some serious TLC.

There’s something about cold, dark days and long, dark evenings that make you want to snuggle down and pamper yourself- or is that just me?!

Either way there’s no better time to look after your skin as the winter months are usually when it could do with a little extra help.

Perfect timing then that Botanicals have launched four beautiful aromatic body balms.

Designed to do more than just nourish your skin these naturally fragranced balms have been created to stimulate your senses by restoring and recharging tired minds or creating warm feelings of contentment, peace and calm.

Hand made in small batches using active plant-derived active ingredients you get a real sense of bespoke luxury and the love that has been poured into every single one of these wonder balms is practically palpable.

There are four gorgeous balms to choose from, each one highly concentrated yet gentle and suitable for even sensitive skin.

You’ve got a Neroli Softening Body Balm, a Wild Rose Nourishing Body Balm, the Award-winning Lavender & Chamomile Soothing Salve and my favourite, the Lemongrass Revitalising Body Balm (£20).

This rich, nourishing and calming balm is infused with zesty, toning lemongrass and balancing mandarin for a beautiful citrus scent.

Packed full of active ingredients, essential fatty acids and shea butter the balm is wonderfully thick and nourishing.

A little goes a long way with this balm and when warmed between your finger-tips it transforms into a wonderfully light oil which is easy to apply to your whole body, cocooning it in moisture and enveloping your senses in a beautifully light, citrusy scent.

Calming, relaxing and comforting the fragrance lingers on your skin all evening and your skin is left feeling soft and nourished without a hint of greasiness.

I adore this balm and am looking forward to trying the other three!

Botanicals Lemongrass Body Balm is available now and costs £20 for 60g.

Sister & Co. Skin Food

If like me you are a lover of natural skin and body care products then you need to become acquainted with a brand called Sister & Co. Skin Food.

Created by Sophie Thompson the brand was developed as a result of her hunt for the purest and most potent raw coconut oil for use as a skin treatment.

After launching her debut product (a cold pressed organic coconut oil) she found herself becoming passionate about the ability of food-grade, nutrient-rich natural ingredients in their raw and undiluted state when vitamins, minerals and nutrients are fully intact, to heal and nourish your body on the outside as well as the inside.

From this, her unique collection of natural skin and body care products was born.

Sister & Co Skin Food products are made with the finest skin superfoods from around the world and use an array of organic cold-pressed plant oils, raw nut butters and milks, sugars, salts, clays, waxes and pure essential oils.

They don't use any chemical preservatives or fillers, synthetic fragrances or toxins to artificially alter the texture, smell or colour of our products.

Sounds impressive right? You can imagine how delighted I was then to have the opportunity to sample two fabulous items from her collection.

Packaged simply yet super stylishly in glass resembling a milk bottle, this fine, fragrant powder features a luxurious blend of softening almond milk, detoxifying kaolin clay and relaxing black cardamom to provide you with the most sumptuous bathing experience.

Poured under warm running water, watch as your bath water transforms into a milky white hue and wait for the aromatic scent of cardamom to envelop your senses and relax both your body and mind.

Sit back and enjoy a deeply comforting bath and if you’re in need of a little exfoliation, simply massage some of the powder into your skin with damp fingertips before rinsing off.

The bath soak is brilliant at revitalising your skin and leaving it feeling soft and nourished without any dryness.

It is a really beautiful product.

Once you’ve enjoyed your luxurious bath treat your skin once more with their Apricot, Lemon and Vanilla Body Melt (£26).

Banish dry skin forever with this rich, hydrating and sumptuous body balm with combines cold pressed raw apricot and almond oil with premium grade shea butter.

The balm is infused with beautiful and delicate Sicilian lemon and sweet Madagascan vanilla so it really does smell just as amazing as it sounds, but it’s not just a pleasant smelling moisturiser.

Rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins A, B and E the balm is 100% natural, organic and vegetarian, gluten and dairy free.

This balm is a really gorgeous product. Super rich in texture it needs to be warmed by your finger tips for gentle application but when warmed it glides onto your skin leaving it feeling soft, supple and hydrated.

Once absorbed it is non oily, non greasy and all you’re left with is a gorgeous, delicate sweet fruity scent.

It may look like rather a small pot but believe me when I say a little goes a long way and its worked wonders on my eczema prone skin.

I am really impressed with the two products I have tried from Sister & Co. Skin Food and can’t wait to explore more of the collection.

You can get your hands on Sister & CO. Skin Food products from ASOS, Feelunique or directly from their website.
