Sabon

If Sabon is a brand that you’re unfamiliar with then sit tight because I’m about to introduce you to them and at the same time, I’ll acquaint you with two of my all- time favourite body care products from their collection.

So, Sabon is a premium bath and body care company, which launched in Israel in 1997. The brand is committed to using only natural ingredients, in fact all of their products are manufactured with Natural Oils from Flowers, Fruits & Seeds and are both SLS and Paraben Free.

Beautifully presented and packaged in exquisite glass bottles and vessels, this brand and its products scream luxury and wouldn’t look out of place in a 5 star London hotel bathroom!

Since its launch the brand has been steadily growing internationally and now boasts its own UK store on Neal Street, Covent Garden.

When it came to deciding which products I wanted to treat myself to first I found it hard as you are quite literally spoiled for choice with Sabon who’s product range covers shower oils, body scrubs, body butters, face creams, hand creams and more- plus there’s also grooming, baby, teen and candles section too!

You can see my dilemma right!

Eventually I settled on one of their Shower Oils and matching Body Lotions.

I opted for one of their traditional, signature scents in Lavender Apple. And trust me, it smells as beautiful as it sounds.

The Lavender Apple range of products are beautifully scented with a mix of wild, purple Lavender flowers combined with fresh green Apple for a fragrance that is both soft and aromatic as well as light, crisp and fruity.

I adore the way that the sweetness of the apple off sets the heady floral notes of the lavender to create a soft, addictive and romantic scent that I could happily indulge in all day long.

Luckily for me I can thanks to this duo- a Luxurious Shower Oil (£22) and a nourishing Body Lotion (£20).

Packaged within in a chic, simplistic bottle with an embossed lid baring the brand name, this bath and shower product is to die for.

Despite being called an ‘oil’ I’d actually say it’s more the texture of a traditional bath foam.

Rich in essential olive, avocado, jojoba & wheat germ oils, this comforting and gentle gel transforms into soft frothy bubbles when poured under warm running water or when massaged directly onto your skin.

It also contains Omega 3, 6, 7, 9 and vitamins A, E which work to soften and protect your skin along with its extensive list of other skin loving, antioxidant rich, moisturising ingredients.

It is suitable for use on even my sensitive skin thanks to its composition which respects your skins natural pH levels and leaves your skin feeling soft, silky and smelling gorgeous.

Thanks to the wonderful Lavender Apple Body Lotion your wonderfully scented, relaxing and rejuvenating experience needn’t end once you’ve left the bath or shower.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how stunning the glass bottle this is housed in is? Its so retro looking and so very cool!

So, this long lasting scent body lotion is so wonderfully rich yet light I’d say it’s a lotion/butter hybrid!

Thick and rich in texture yet also lightweight and delicate, it contains a host of natural oils such as olive, avocado and wheat germ.

Rich in omega 3,6,7 and 9 s well as Vitamin A and E this lotion is simply a delight to use.

Quickly absorbed into the skin it gets to work immediately to soothe and nourish dry skin while leaving behind the most addictive and delicious scent that lingers on your skin for hours after application.

It’s the gift that keeps on giving and I can often still smell its beautiful scent the following morning which is impressive!

I’ve fallen for this brand in a big way and with their expansive range of collections just waiting to be tested in scents such as Mango Kiwi, Vanilla Coconut and Patchouli Lavender Vanilla I’m going to hooked for some time yet!
