The Irish Fairy Door Company

Since having my son almost 2 years ago life has changed in every way possible for me.

One of the things I spend my life trying to ensure is that for him, that life is as magical and fantastic as possible. Children grow up fast and personally I embrace every opportunity I can to bring a bit of magic and wonder into his life.

He’s still really little and can’t yet understand the concept of Easter, Christmas or Halloween etc, but he understands more and more every day so we always make a big effort anyway.

Now, I’m not gonna lie, I’ve had my eye on one of this fantastic products even before I had my son and I think they are just brilliant and another way of bringing a little bit of magic and mystery into the every day!

This is a post about The Irish Fairy Door Company. In their own words ‘’we help fairies relocate into homes and gardens all over the world by producing high quality handmade Irish fairy doors; our aim is to create memorable family moments and a little magic all year round – all YOU need to do is believe!’’

Yep, that’s me sold!
Each Irish fairy door comes with a magic key in a bottle, three stepping stones, the Family / Fairy Lease Agreement, a notepad for your fairy and the Fairy Welcome Guide.

You can register your fairy’s name on The Fairy Workplace Log on their website then you and your child will be able to enjoy a magical interactive journey with exclusive stories and play ideas delivered direct from Fairy Valley on a weekly basis.

Basically, you just need to find a special place to put your fairy door and stepping stones then leave the key besides it. If they key has gone in the morning, your fairy has arrived!

You can place your door either inside or out, but I decided on our living room as a good home for ours as Franky can then see it on a daily basis.

It is such a fabulously sweet concept and though Franky is still too young to understand what it all means, he LOVES the door and steps and we spend a fair amount of time talking about our fairy, which we named ‘Red’, thanks to Franky’s love of that colour!

You can choose from a range of different door colours and shapes and for £19.99 I think it’s a really great idea that will enchant your child for years to come, and after all, who doesn’t want a bit more magic in their lives?

You can get your own Irish Fair Door now from their website.

Wanna Cuppa Mugs

So I know this isn’t beauty related but this is something I really loved so therefore have decided to share with you lovely lot.

I drink a fair bit of tea, as do most people I know and I love adding new mugs to my collection.

My parents and mother in law actually have their own special mugs they always use when they come to our house and both me and the Mr have mugs that we prefer to use too.

I have no idea if this is normal or if this makes us weird but frankly I care not either way- my point is we all have our favourite mugs and I now have a few more to share!

Wanna Cuppa is a British company who brighten your day with mugs printed with fabulous quotes and statements.

They have LOADS of different prints to choose from but these 4 struck a chord with me personally and I love them!

The ‘I said I Will Fix It’ one is going straight to my husband as this sums him up perfectly while the ‘Nutella’ mug has got my sister’s name written all over it!

The ‘I Wish I was as thin’ mug is 100% me all over and I just really liked the Lemon one!

Each mug costs £6.99 and that includes a gift box (pictured) and personally I think they make really cool, personal gifts.

Check out more of the different styles available on their Facebook page where you can also order from them now.
