L’Occitane’s new
Melting Honey collection has to be one of my all time favourite L’Occitane
ranges.
For this collection L’Occitane
have combined the fabulous benefits of shea butter from Burkina Faso with the
soothing and protective properties of honey from Provence.
While I deteste the
taste of honey I adore its scent and this range did not disappoint.
The guys at L’Occitane
chose to blend their iconic shea butter with an organic, rare lavender honey
from the Provence region of France. The bees spend their summer in aromatic
lavender fields which create a beautiful and exceptionally special honey.
This honey combined
with the soft, nourishing properties of
their shea butter creates a stunning, warming, treat for your body and senses.
My hero products from
the range include the Ultra Soft Cream (£18) which contains 10% shea butter and
leaves your skin feeling silky soft and smooth. The non-greasy, rich Hand Cream
(£8) contains a whopping 25% shea butter and is a handbag staple while the Lip
Balm (£8.50) melts onto your lips leaving a gorgeous sheen and smells
delectable!
Also available is the
Soft Shower Gel (£14) and Exfoliating Sugars (£22) which do a fabulous job of buffing and
cleansing your skin to silky smooth perfection while leaving behind a delicate
and delicious hint of honey scent.
The final product in
the range is the Solidarity Soap (£3) which is a little bit special.
October 8th
is World Sight Day and every year L’Occitane sells a fund-raising ”solidarity
soap” with the support of the L’Occitane Foundation,to finance NGO programmes
aimed at fighting visual impairment in Burkina Faso, where their fair trade shea
butter is produced.
100% of the profits
from the sale of each soap will enable a person from the rural area of Burkina
to have access to glasses and eye care.
Talk about beauty
with a conscience.
The L’Occitane Melting Honey collection is available now.
L'occitane never fail to impress me and I adore honey I bet this collection is amazing xx
