The TOPSHOP Freckle Pencil

Have you heard about the new launch from TOPSHOP Beauty?

It’s called, the Freckle Pencil (£5).

It’s basically a pencil that you can use to adorn your face with freckles, should you not be blessed with them naturally.

The long wearing, waxy formula contains two complimentary shades of brown swirled together, allowing you to create a perfect face full of freckles.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for trying out new beauty concepts and products and I could be totally out of the loop and wrong about this, but do people really draw freckles on their faces for any occasions other than fancy dress?

AND if they do, do they really need a pencil specifically designed for this purpose? What’s wrong with a trusty eyeliner?

What do you think?

The Freckle pencil is available now at selected TOPSHOP and John Lewis stores nationwide.

Beefayre Bath & Body Collection

There’s nothing better than stumbling across a new beauty brand. The excitement I feel at trying new brands and products for a first time is addictive and when I find one whose purpose is so much more than just creating beautiful products, I’m a very happy lady!

Beefayre is exactly that brand.

Not content with creating luxurious and beautiful bath and body products, they aim to promote health and happiness with their products while also informing a wider public about the plight of the honeybee.

They donate 3% of their profits to bee conservation and research, and aim to encourage a deeper understanding of our connectedness with bees and their plight.

They have a super cute ‘beethos’, which outlines their values and plight as follows;

Protect our bees & their habitats - without them our very existence is threatened.

Consume with care - create quality products that do not cost the earth - literally!

Champion biodiversity - to encourage a diverse habitat for bees and other pollinators.

Sustainability top to bottom  - to ensure ingredients are sustainably sourced and to keep packaging low impact.

Rediscover ancient wisdom – to learn about bees and the healing products from nature’s own larder.

Think interconnectedness   – the health of our bees is a barometer of the health of our planet.

So, I just had to try some of their products!

Their bath and body range come in three sets of fragrances; beecalm geranium, lavender & ylang ylang, beehappy  orange & jasmine and beeloved rose petal.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate just how beautifully packaged these products are.

Gorgeous!

I tried the becalm shower and bath milk (£10.95) and the beehappy body butter (£15.95).

The shower and bath milk is beautiful!

Its  creamy, gentle formula froths up perfectly in both the bath and the shower, while the  exceptional fragrance envelopes your senses, leaving you feeling perfectly relaxed and indulged!

The shea and cocoa butter body butter is decadent, thick and extremely creamy!

The butter is rich in essential oils of Orange & Jasmine as well as Vitamin E, making it perfect for dry and sensitive skin.

The fragrance is delicate with a hint of citrus balanced by a soothing and calm jasmine essence.

A little goes a long way with this non greasy butter! It melts into your skin without a trace of greasiness and leaves a beautiful fragrance on your skin which lasts for ages!

Its fair to say im addicted to these now and have gone on to order their lip balm, soap and hand cream which they also offer in each range!

All of the Beefayre beauty products are made in England and use natural, sustainably sourced ingredients and contain no petroleum ingredients, sulphates, artificial colours or foaming agents.

As mentioned earlier, 3% from each sale goes towards bee conservation, so while you’re pampering yourself your helping Britain’s bees too!

Check out Beefayre and their gorgeous products here.

Benefit Hydrating Tinted Lip Balms

These hydrating tinted lip balms are the fabulous, newest addition to the Benefit collection.

Benebalm, Posiebalm, Chachabalm and Lollibalm all contain hydrating mango butter and sodium hyaluronate to leave your lips feeling soft and hydrated, with just a hint of colour.

Each balm compliments its sister stain; Benetint, Posietint, Chachatint and Lollitint, allowing you to match your lips and cheeks perfectly!

The balms are deliciously moisturising with a very delicate hint of buildable pigment, allowing you to create the perfect level of colour.

You can use the balms over their corresponding tint on your lips to give a longer lasting, stunning look too!

Chachabalm is perfect for summer with its warm, fruity coral hues.

Benebalm gives you that ‘just been kissed’ rosy lip look, without the hassle of trying to wear red lippie!

Lollibalm is a pretty, candy pink, guaranteed to look fab with a tan.

Top L-R Chachabalm & Posiebalm                       Bottom L-R Benebalm & Lollibalm

Posiebalm is my favourite with its wearable, poppy pink sheen which I think will suit almost every skin tone.

Now, I know that £14.50 might sound like a lot of money to spend on a lip balm, but seriously, just look at how pretty they are!

The fact that they match the pre existing tints gets a big thumbs up from me too. You can use the two together to ensure your lips look fab all day long and I love the fact you can wear the tint on your cheeks and have a matching lip!

All four balms are available now from Benefit and cost £14.50.
