Good Things Manuka Honey Daily Moisturiser

Good Things Skin have launched their latest range, Manuka Honey to coincide with Bee Health Month, which raises awareness of how to provide a healthy environment for bees.

As Honey bees are the creators of the incredible honey within the range, it gives every honey fan the chance to show their appreciation towards to amazing little creatures!

Manuka Honey is renowned for its anti-bacterial properties and Good Things have harnessed this goodness and included it within their new Manuka Honey Daily Moisturiser.

They honey is combined with Royal jelly, Beeswax, Echinacea and Bee Venom to create a rich yet light, creamy yet silky moisturiser.

The cream is non greasy and sinks into the skin quickly leaving it feeling soft and nourished.

Its smells fresh and spring like, with a sweet, delicate undertone of honey (of course!).

My skin type is combination and I find that this moisturiser works perfectly for me. It’s rich enough to revive my dry skin but not too greasy on the oilier areas such as my T-Zone.

Did I mention it smells really delicious too?!

To top it all off, as with all Good Things products the moisturiser is free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oils and animal tested ingredients.

Good Things Stop That Spot Clearing Gel

Despite being in the latter end of my 20’s I’m still plagued by the occasional spot and its just as annoying now as it ever was.

The trouble I have with most spot treatments is that they are either just utterly ineffective or so strong they burn my skin.

Good Things have launched Stop That Spot clearing gel, an anti-bacterial gel which contains active extracts of willow bark, liquorice, papaya and acai to help tackle unwanted breakouts.

It smells AMAZING! 

Really fruity and fresh, so unlike every other spot treatment  I’ve tried which smells like alcohol and chemicals.

It is a very thin, non gloopy gel that glides across the skin and sinks in quickly, leaving no trace that it was ever there. 

Many other gels sit on top of the skin, leaving a thin, visible film, but not this one.

It also didn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry and by the morning, my spot was definitely less angry and within another 24-48 hours, had all but gone!

Good Things for Skin!

As a sufferer of sensitive and often problematic skin I am forever on the look out for products which are natural, organic, suitable for sensitive skin and paraben free. When I find a brand that offers all the above I cling onto it for dear life, and ive just found one.

 The Brand is called Good Things- because that's what its full of! Their products are free from parabens, sodium laureth sulphate, mineral oils and they do not use animal tested ingredients.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that because they are free from all of the above that they are lacking in punch and substance, this is most certainly not the case. 

I tried out their 5 minute facial face mask which contains superfruit extracts of goji berries and avocado.  Designed to make your skin clearer, brighter and smoother the ingredients include green clay and kaolin to draw out impurities, avocado oil to moisturise, goji berry extract to soothe and willow bark extract for radiance. It also smells really nice unlike some other masks which can smell chalky.

Enjoying the mask!

 Apply to cleansed skin and leave for 5 minutes before rinsing off.  The result- im actually really impressed. I don’t normally use face masks- I find them harsh on my skin and often result in a break out of spots.  This mask was very gentle to my skin and I felt refreshed, clean and smooth after rinsing it off.

I continued my routine post shower by trying out their Ultra Rich Body Butter. 

Now after a long hard day at work I relish my evenings and always look forward to slathering myself in a body moisturiser, reclining on the sofa and enjoying the aroma of the lotion wafting through my dressing gown. 

Containing  mango, papaya and goji berry you can only imagine the tropical scents that escaped from the pot once id opened the lid. A wonderful fruity smell, natural rather than synthetic smelling and totally gorgeous.

The moisturiser was light yet effective, soaking quickly into my skin leaving it feeling soft, moisturised and non greasy. I was indeed then treated to the reoccurring scent of sweet smelling fruits every time I moved, with my husband even remarking on the pleasant aroma!
