Beefayre Bath & Body Collection

There’s nothing better than stumbling across a new beauty brand. The excitement I feel at trying new brands and products for a first time is addictive and when I find one whose purpose is so much more than just creating beautiful products, I’m a very happy lady!

Beefayre is exactly that brand.

Not content with creating luxurious and beautiful bath and body products, they aim to promote health and happiness with their products while also informing a wider public about the plight of the honeybee.

They donate 3% of their profits to bee conservation and research, and aim to encourage a deeper understanding of our connectedness with bees and their plight.

They have a super cute ‘beethos’, which outlines their values and plight as follows;

Protect our bees & their habitats - without them our very existence is threatened.

Consume with care - create quality products that do not cost the earth - literally!

Champion biodiversity - to encourage a diverse habitat for bees and other pollinators.

Sustainability top to bottom  - to ensure ingredients are sustainably sourced and to keep packaging low impact.

Rediscover ancient wisdom – to learn about bees and the healing products from nature’s own larder.

Think interconnectedness   – the health of our bees is a barometer of the health of our planet.

So, I just had to try some of their products!

Their bath and body range come in three sets of fragrances; beecalm geranium, lavender & ylang ylang, beehappy  orange & jasmine and beeloved rose petal.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate just how beautifully packaged these products are.

Gorgeous!

I tried the becalm shower and bath milk (£10.95) and the beehappy body butter (£15.95).

The shower and bath milk is beautiful!

Its  creamy, gentle formula froths up perfectly in both the bath and the shower, while the  exceptional fragrance envelopes your senses, leaving you feeling perfectly relaxed and indulged!

The shea and cocoa butter body butter is decadent, thick and extremely creamy!

The butter is rich in essential oils of Orange & Jasmine as well as Vitamin E, making it perfect for dry and sensitive skin.

The fragrance is delicate with a hint of citrus balanced by a soothing and calm jasmine essence.

A little goes a long way with this non greasy butter! It melts into your skin without a trace of greasiness and leaves a beautiful fragrance on your skin which lasts for ages!

Its fair to say im addicted to these now and have gone on to order their lip balm, soap and hand cream which they also offer in each range!

All of the Beefayre beauty products are made in England and use natural, sustainably sourced ingredients and contain no petroleum ingredients, sulphates, artificial colours or foaming agents.

As mentioned earlier, 3% from each sale goes towards bee conservation, so while you’re pampering yourself your helping Britain’s bees too!

Good Things Skin have launched their latest range, Manuka Honey to coincide with Bee Health Month, which raises awareness of how to provide a healthy environment for bees.

As Honey bees are the creators of the incredible honey within the range, it gives every honey fan the chance to show their appreciation towards to amazing little creatures!

Manuka Honey is renowned for its anti-bacterial properties and Good Things have harnessed this goodness and included it within their new Manuka Honey Daily Moisturiser.

They honey is combined with Royal jelly, Beeswax, Echinacea and Bee Venom to create a rich yet light, creamy yet silky moisturiser.

The cream is non greasy and sinks into the skin quickly leaving it feeling soft and nourished.

My skin type is combination and I find that this moisturiser works perfectly for me. It’s rich enough to revive my dry skin but not too greasy on the oilier areas such as my T-Zone.

Did I mention it smells really delicious too?!

To top it all off, as with all Good Things products the moisturiser is free from parabens, sulphates, mineral oils and animal tested ingredients.

The Body Shop Honey Bronze Range!

The medicinal and healing properties of honey have earned it a reputation as one the purest and most natural remedies for over 5,000 years.

Thanks to its long list of amazing qualities, honey is used to treat a wide range of ailments and complaints as well as being used as an ingredient in many beauty products.

The Body Shop's new collection pays homage to the wonder that is honey with its gorgeous Lip Balm, Bronzer and Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil.

Their Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder (£13) is a gorgeous honey-enriched pressed powder, available in 4 shades, which gives skin an even, bronze matte finish.

Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder, Shade 4

Encased in a pretty brown compact, the powder is pressed to feature the recognisable shape of honeycomb!

The texture is silky and the powder glides onto the skin, allowing you to blend away and create a stunning, naturally bronzed look without looking orange.

The Honey Bronze Shimmer Lip Balm (£6) is far prettier than I thought it would be and it smells DIVINE.

The sweetly-scented balm repairs and moisturises lips whilst giving them a luscious, golden shimmer which is really subtle and not at all glittery!

The honey bee hive pot that the balm sits in is also really cute!

Finally is their Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil (£16) which is perfect for dry skin that is begging for a pick-me-up.

The shimmer within the lightweight oil helps to bring the skin alive and helps your tan look deeper and more bronzed.

The smell is sweet and delicate and the non greasy oil left my skin feeling soft and super moisturised.

I found this worked particularly well when applied to the front of my legs and shins as it gave them a gorgeous shimmer, making them look healthy and gorgeous!
