L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil Original Oil

I have VERY long, coloured, thick hair and really struggle to create a natural feeling softness and sleekness to my hair.

I use a wide range of haircare bits and bobs and am constantly trialing products in the hope of finding ‘the one’.

‘The one’ that leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft and silky. The one that makes my hair shine with health. The one that also protects my hair from the onslaught of the hairdryer, straightener and styling.

I think I may have found ‘the one’.

L’Oreal Professional Mythic Oil Original Oil is quite possibly one of the best leave-in haircare products that I’ve ever tried.

Infused with a rich blend of precious oils including Argan, grape seed and vitamin rich avocado oil this miracle product expertly tames frizz, softens hair cuticles, delivers incredible nourishment and provides heat protection of up to 230 degrees.

This beautiful, lightweight fluid preps your hair in such a way that once dried, dull hair is transformed into flowing, silky locks that possess a mirror like shine.

I’m not even exaggerating.

The oil itself is extremely lightweight, non greasy and not at all sticky in texture. It is lightly fragranced and if I’m honest, its fragrance is the only element that I’m not a huge fan of. It reminds me ever-so-slightly of furniture polish.

You can use this product in several ways;

Apply 2-3 pumps to damp mid lengths of your hair and comb through. This helps to protect your hair against potential damage while drying and styling and leaves your hair feeling incredibly soft and nourished- even dry, damaged hair like mine.

For extra pizzaz and shine, warm 1 pump in the palm of your hands and apply to mid-lengths of dry hair.

Control frizz throughout the day by applying small amounts to your dry ends as needed.

I’m all kinds of impressed with this oil and am convinced that if you too suffer with dull, dry hair that adding this to your haircare routine will really transform your locks.

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche L'Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks Giveaway

L’Oreal Paris Color Riche L'Extraordinaire is a relatively new lip product from the brand.

This unique ‘liquid lipstick’ has been created to offer the high shine of a gloss with the colour intensity of a lipstick AND the softness of a balm.

Sounds pretty great right?

Packaged beautifully in little gold tubes with an oval window displaying the colour within, they exude luxury and I think look pretty chic.

Available in 9 shades each lipstick has been blended with luxurious micro-oils to catch the light and infused with rich pigments to magnify their colours.

Firstly, I love the applicator wand which features a feather soft tip. It feels really soft on your lips and glides the product evenly and accurately across your lips.

201 Rose Symphony

The product itself feels really lovely.  It is thick, rich and is pretty much a gloss in texture, only somewhat less stick and gooey.

401 Fuschia Drama

The product glides onto your lips rather than clinging to the wand, thanks to the oils I assume and it’s fair to say that they certainly are very pigmented.

600 Nude Vibrato

You can see from the photos that yes they do indeed offer both great colour and shine and they left my lips feeling soft and nourished like a balm.

301 Rouge Soprano

I would say, however, that some of the more vibrant shades were harder to apply than the nudes.

500 Molto Mauve

It was quite difficult to get an even coverage if you applied lots of the product to your lips and if you try to apply more, the situation becomes even worse as you move the colour around your lips.

Apply sparingly and this patchy disaster can be easily avoided , leaving you with luscious, bright and a beautiful shine!
