Darphin Intral Collection New Launches

If like me you suffer with or are prone to experience bouts of sensitive skin then this post is for you.

Allow me to introduce you to two new products from Darphin’s Intral collection.

Created with sensitive skin in mind that is prone to redness the new launches feature a Toner with Camomile (£30) and a Redness Relief Recovery Balm (£48).

These gentle and soothing products soothe even the most sensitive of skins and contain a cocktail of plants and aromas, helping to tackle sensitivity and leave skin feeling calmed, comfortable and radiant.

I’ve fallen in love with this pretty, pink Toner and believe it or not, it actually allows me to begin to feel soothed just by inhaling its soft, delicate aroma!

This stunning lotion has been infused with Chamomile, renowned for its decongesting and anti-redness properties which has been blended with the Darphin Calm Complex.

Designed to be used after your cleanser, it helps to calm and soothe skin troubled by redness, irritation and intolerance. 

Gentle on your skin and non-drying, it features a soft, subtle scent which further adds to the calming experience and leaves your skin feeling soft and fresh without a hint of tightness.

When your skin really hits rock bottom and is screaming out for relief then the new Redness Relief Recovery Balm will sort you right out.

Created with dry to very dry skin in mind, this soothing and super nourishing balm features an  exclusive Calm Complex of 3 flowers (Hawthorn, Peony and Chamomile) along with Bran extract, Glycosaminoglycanes, Vitamin E and Mango Butter to soften and nourish your skin while helping to reduce redness.

These potent ingredients don’t just nourish, they also work to soothe and strengthen your skin’s natural barrier to better protect it against irritants, pollution and environmental stressors which can age your skin.

I expected a very thick, slightly greasy product as this product has been called a ‘balm’, but I was very surprised that it was not in the slightest bit greasy.

Rich, thick and extremely nourishing it is completely non greasy and despite its richness it was absorbed quickly, leaving behind no trace other than wonderfully moisturised and calmed skin.

My dry patches felt instantly refreshed and the tightness and discomfort eased almost immediately.

A little goes a long way with this product so you don’t need to pile it on to achieve softer, soothed skin which is a great reflection of just how fabulously it works.

This duo are not cheap I know, but if your skin can be troublesome you’ll know that you’d pay anything to restore balance and calm and these two products really do help.

Omorovicza Hydra Melting Cleanser

I love a soft, gentle cleanser and they don’t come much more gentle than the luxurious Hydra Melting Cleanser from Omorovicza.

This exquisite melting cleanser features a triple-phase formula which sees it transform from a rich gel, to a lightweight oil then finally a milky emulsion.

This pretty, pale- blue cleanser contains a host of skin loving ingredients which nourish your skin while it clarifies and stimulates cell regeneration while simultaneously dissolving dirt and impurities.

It contains Mallow flower extract to hydrate and reduce inflammation while Sea buckthorn berry oil (rich in vitamins A, C and E and omega7) purify and regenerate the skin.

It’s almost like cleansing your face with a moisturiser as your skin is never left feeling tight, parched or stripped. 

It is so gentle it’s even suitable for my sensitive, un-predictable skin that frequently flares up for no apparent reason!

I love using this particularly at the end of the day when my skin is feeling a tad dehydrated and tired as it instantly perks it up and helps to restore its balance and vitality.

Frances Prescott Tri-Balm

I love a good cleanse and am always on the hunt for fab new cleansers.

When a press release for the new Tri-Balm by Frances Prescott landed in my inbox I knew I had to try it.

This innovative, chic and unique looking cleanser claims to cleanse, exfoliate AND moisturise in one go, hence the ‘tri’ part of its name.

The luxurious balm is essentially a solid stick cleansing balm which melts onto your skin then emulsifies into a milky cleanser once warm water is introduced.

Inspired by the healing powers of nature the balm is cruelty-free and contains no harmful chemicals, parabens, silicones or synthetics.

It does however contain a host of skin loving ingredients to help gently cleanse, condition and nourish your skin.

The balm contains a cocktail of botanical oils enriched with starflower, NorOmega Gold, beeswax and oats to gently melt away your makeup and impurities to effectively cleanse your skin, leaving it feeling soft and clean without a hint of tightness.

Pumpkin enzymes which are high in AHA’s gently exfoliate the skin to reveal brighter, softer, healthier skin and hyaluronic acid, sweet almond oil and Vitamin E work to deeply nourish, hydrate and plump your skin.

If that wasn’t enough, it also contains collagen stimulating ingredients to help promote a healthy, youthful complexion, calendula to soothe irritation and blackcurrant to neutralise free radicals and help to protect your skin.

It all sounds a bit too good to be true doesn’t it.  A 3-in-1 cleanser that does the job of traditionally three separate products.

You can probably see now why I was so eager to try it!

So firstly can I say that I adore the way this has been packaged and marketed. 

Resembling more of a solid deodorant in design and look than a traditional cleansing balm it is eye-catching, distinctive and screams high end luxury.

The balm itself smells beautiful- light, soft and ever-so slightly citrusy which tantalises and awakens your senses!

In terms of application, you can apply the balm straight to your face from the stick which twists up at the bottom to reveal more of the product when required, or (and perhaps slightly more hygienically) you can use clean, dry fingers to remove an appropriate amount of the balm from the stick and then apply to your face.

Light and non-greasy the balm gets to work straight away to break down any residual make up left on the skin, gently and effectively lifting it from your skin.

Once you have massaged it onto your skin for as long as you see fit, simply splash with warm water to emulsify and watch as the balm is transformed into a gentle, milky cleanser.

I LOVE this balm. It is one of the only cleansers I’ve ever used that leaves my skin feeling like its already been moisturised immediately after use, which is incredible really.

It cleanses so deeply yet so gently it doesn’t strip your skin of its natural oils and leaves it feeling wonderfully soft and smooth.

It is a truly gorgeous product and if (like me) you’re a fan of cleansing balms then know that I’m not exaggerating when I say that you NEED to give Tri-Balm a go.

If you’re not sure that a cleansing balm is for you then I’m gonna stick my neck out and say that this is the product that will change your mind. Truly.
