Benefit Dandelion Twinkle

Dandelion Twinkle is the beautiful new powder highlighter from Benefit.

Perfect for those of us who want to glow delicately, this gorgeous nude-pink, superfine powder offers just a hint of a twinkle.

The super soft, dandy daydream scented lovely creates a radiant complexion with just the sweep of a brush.

It is so light in texture that you can’t feel you’re wearing it and its shade is subtle enough to be used with your favourite blush or alternatively it can be used alone.

I’m not usually a huge fan of ‘twinkly’, ‘glittery’ products but Dandelion Twinkle is just soft and fine enough to slip through my net.

It is great for daytime looks when stronger, more iridescent highlighters might be a tad OTT, but don’t get me wrong, you can really notice a difference when wearing it.

I pop some on my brow bones and along my cheek bones and it makes my skin come alive, offers come definition to my face and improves the appearance of my complexion.

It’s ever such a pretty product!

Benefit Dandelion Twinkle is available now from asos and costs £24.50.

Benefit GALifornia Blush

I love a Benefit blush and am very excited for the launch of GALifornia in March.

This sunny golden-pink blush embossed with a solar design contains shimmery gold with warm pink and features notes of pink grapefruit and vanilla!

 Benefit say;

“GALifornia embodies the warm sunshine & free-spirited Cali vibe, from the name (gal + California) to the fun, girly packaging. “The artwork was inspired by vintage 1970s California surfer girls,” says Hannah Mallot Creative Director at Benefit Cosmetics.”

GALifornia will be available in March and will cost £24.50.

P.S. anyone else think the image of the California Gal looks very much like Khloe Kardashian?!

Benefit Majorette Booster Blush

Majorette is the newest addition to the Benefit blush collection!

Unlike Benefit’s cult Box O’Powder range, Majorette is a stunning, creamy booster blush.

Designed to be worn either alone or under one of their box o’powders, this blush gives you the opportunity to create a huge range of different looks.

The cream to powder formula is gorgeous and the colour is divine. The cream melts into your skin and blends perfectly, allowing you to create a strong or more subtle look, depending on what you’re after.

While it may look a rather strong peach in its packaging, when applied to your skin it takes on a more pinky -peach shade, which flatters even my milky white skin tone.

Majorette

I don’t normally rate cream blushes due to my oily complexion, but I didn’t even experience a hint of greasiness with Majorette as it transformed into a soft, shine free powder finish pretty much instantly.

Now I realise that this has no bearing whatsoever on how well this blush works, but I need to point out that it smells incredible! I haven’t be able to put my finger on the exact scent, but to me it smells like orange sherbert, which was most pleasant!

Majorette with Hervana

So, having tried it alone, given that Majorette can be used under your regular Benefit blush, I tried it with Hervana.

You know what, It actually looked pretty and seemed to give the Hervana blush a bit more ‘pop’, making it bolder and more of a statement.

You can get your own Majorette blush now from Benefit and it costs £23.50.
