Benefit GALifornia

GALifornia is the new sunny, golden pink blusher from Benefit.

Perfect for the summer months and evoking images of long, warm sunbaked days this gorgeous new powder blush allows to create a beautiful look with a subtle golden glow.

Infused with a dreamy scent of fruity pink grapefruit and creamy vanilla the blush is embossed with the image of a pretty, glowing sun.

I mentioned this in my news post when GALifornia was first announced but HOW much does the image of the woman adorning the box look like Khloe Kardashian!

Anyway, like all Benefit box blushes, GALifornia contains a custom rounded, soft blush brush which allows for precise and gentle application.

The powder is super fine, super soft and feels gorgeous on my skin.

Easy to blend, you can build the  colour from a really delicate peachy pink to a more powerful shade depending on the look your after.

The shimmery gold tone of the embossed sun offers a multi dimensional element and leaves you looking like you’ve just stepped off the beach after a day in the sun.

GALifornia is a beautiful addition to Benefit’s range of blushers, is available now and costs £24.50.

Benefit Majorette Booster Blush

Majorette is the newest addition to the Benefit blush collection!

Unlike Benefit’s cult Box O’Powder range, Majorette is a stunning, creamy booster blush.

Designed to be worn either alone or under one of their box o’powders, this blush gives you the opportunity to create a huge range of different looks.

The cream to powder formula is gorgeous and the colour is divine. The cream melts into your skin and blends perfectly, allowing you to create a strong or more subtle look, depending on what you’re after.

While it may look a rather strong peach in its packaging, when applied to your skin it takes on a more pinky -peach shade, which flatters even my milky white skin tone.

Majorette

I don’t normally rate cream blushes due to my oily complexion, but I didn’t even experience a hint of greasiness with Majorette as it transformed into a soft, shine free powder finish pretty much instantly.

Now I realise that this has no bearing whatsoever on how well this blush works, but I need to point out that it smells incredible! I haven’t be able to put my finger on the exact scent, but to me it smells like orange sherbert, which was most pleasant!

Majorette with Hervana

So, having tried it alone, given that Majorette can be used under your regular Benefit blush, I tried it with Hervana.

You know what, It actually looked pretty and seemed to give the Hervana blush a bit more ‘pop’, making it bolder and more of a statement.

You can get your own Majorette blush now from Benefit and it costs £23.50.

Benefit Rockateur Blush

When it comes to Benefit’s blusher boxes, they can generally do no wrong in my eyes.

Cute, versatile and in a range of shades that suit any skin tone, they are the staple in my make up cabinet.

This August 22nd see the newest Benefit blush launch and that blush is the cutely named Rockateur.

This pretty, rose gold, shimmery blush is unquestionably, gorgeous to look at.

The embossing on the powder is extremely cute- It’s one of those where you almost don’t wasn’t to use it for fear of ruining its prettiness!

But it’s there to be used so that’s what I did!

When swatched the colour wasn’t quite as I expected, I found it to be more of a pale peachy shade than a true pink, but pretty none the less.

Rockateur Swatched

If I’m honest, I really didn’t love the shimmer of this blush, but then you all know my feelings on shimmery face products, mainly that they are a big no no for an oily skinned girl like me whose skin produces enough ‘shimmer’ by itself, so that was a bit of turn off for me.

Rockateur Swatched

Now, you may notice there appears to be somewhat less of this blush than in the other traditional boxes. That would be because there is.

Rockateur is only 5g as opposed to the regular 7 or 8, which I found a little disappointing as at £18.50 you are paying a lot of money for what is essentially a small amount of product.

That said, if you are the kind of girl who loves a bit of shimmer and enjoys the feeling of pure softness when applying her blusher, then Rockateur is for you.

Benefit’s Rockateur is available from August 22nd. Check it out HERE.
