Yankee Candle Advent Calendars 2015

I think we all know that when it comes to Advent Calendars there are so many other options out there than just the bog standard chocolate ones- though, I do love chocolate so these will always have a special place in my heart.

Top of my yearly wish list are the offerings from Yankee Candles. I love burning scented candles at home as they fill your home with a comforting fragrance and there are no better scents than the Yankee Candle festive ones!

Their range of candles and scents can turn your home from blah to a magical Christmas grotto in a flash and I love this!

This year Yankee have outdone themselves with their two Advent Calendars and yes I’m pretty sure you’re going to want both!

First up is their festive Advent House In The Snow Calendar (£27.99) which is back by popular demand following last years success.

The Advent House features 7 festive fragrances; you’ve got Candy Cane Lane, Winter Glow, Snowflake Cookie, Icicles, Bundle Up, Spiced Orange and then Christmas Eve which is a bigger Votive Candle.

I love how fabulous this house is and it also doubles up as a great Christmas Decoration as it looks great on show in your home.

Next up is a very special, not-so little Calendar.

New for 2015 is the Reindeer Carousel Advent Calendar which features a beautiful design of reindeer on a carousel!

This calendar features 8 festive fragrances in a mixture tea lights and votive candles.

 In tea lights you’ve got Berry Trifle, Christmas Cookie, Bundle Up and Cinnamon Stick and in votive candles you’ve got Red Apple Wreath, Candy Cane Lane, Angels Wings and Snow in Love.

This calendar costs slightly more at £31.99 but I’m sure you’ll agree is worth every penny when you look at how much you’re getting.

Its getting closer and closer to December 1^st and we all know what that means, it means time to crack open the advent calendars!

Yankee Candle Christmas Garland

You know it’s getting close to Christmas when Yankee Candle release their Crimbo fragrances!

Now, while I’m usually all about their fruity, sweet and edible fragrances, I decided this year It was time to try something a little different and see what else Yankee Candle had to offer, so allow me to present to you, Christmas Garland.

This festive fragrance welcomes the aroma of freshly cut pine and zesty cranberries into your home.

The dark green shade of candle and the little photo on the front of the jar evokes memories of beautiful Christmas wreathes and indeed, so does the fragrance.

It is a woody, authentically pine smelling fragrance with gorgeously sweet notes of cranberry.

It reminds me of the smell you get when you first bring your Christmas tree into the house.

 I love it and with this medium candle (£16.99) offering 65 to 90 hours of fragrance, you can enjoy this Christmassey scent all through the festive period.
