MOSCHINO TOY 2

I dare you to find me a cuter fragrance bottle than MOSCHINO TOY 2 (and don’t say Moschino Toy because that’s cheating!)

That’s right ladies and gents, the iconic Moschino teddy bear Fragrance is back and he’s had one heck of a sophisticated makeover.

Described as a floral woody musk, despite its jovial, cutesy teddy bear appearance this scent actually exudes pure luxury and the juxtaposition of the bottle and scent is inspired.

This unique second edition is sculpted in a fine, heavy transparent glass bottle. Opaque teddy bear hands wrap themselves around the bottle, cradling the MOSCHINO logo while opaque little feet sit at the bottom.

The cap features the head of a bear with a gold collar poking out just below hinting at its sophistication. I mean, what kind of self-respecting bear wouldn’t be wearing a gold collar, am I right?

Onto the scent itself.

Sensual, seductive and warming it features light and fruity top notes of sparkling green apple, zesty mandarin and delicate hints of magnolia.

Mid notes of elegant jasmine blend with velvety notes of peony before being combined with crisp and fruity whitecurrant before soothing and warm sandalwood, musk and amber wood offer a radiant softness which wraps the entire fragrance in a warm embrace.

It is such a sensual, modern and seductive scent that it seems so much of a contrast for it to be housed in such an innocent vessel as a teddy bear.

Moschino Gold Fresh Couture

Moschino have done it again!

Just when you think you’d seen it all and were captivated and enthralled by their original Fresh Couture they’ve gone and topped it!

Meet Moschino Gold Fresh Couture, the third and possibly most luxurious of their iconic cleaning spray bottle inspired scents!

Gold Fresh Couture is a playful, surprising and delightful fragrance which combines an array of addictive and joyful accents to create a floral yet woody scent steeped in femininity.

As like it predecessors, the concept of its eye catching bottle was to juxtapose the mundane and commonplace household cleaning spray with something special, luxurious and beautiful; the glorious fragrance within.

Gold Fresh Couture is without a doubt my favourite of the three scents to date thanks to its intoxicating, feminine and delicious blend of exotic notes.

It opens with a refreshing and juicy hit of white peach, yellow mandarine orpur and pear and rhubarb granita which offer a delectable and light experience. 

Refreshing and sweet it captures you immediately, before heart notes of jasmine, mahonial and golden chain orchid (scenttrek) create a softer, delicately floral element that softens the initial juicy hit creating a more feminine and sensual experience.

Base notes of sandalwood, musk, akigalawood and creamy vanilla offer a warming softness which rounds off the fragrance to perfection.

It’s quite unlike any fragrance I’ve tried before, but in a good way.

It is delicious and addictive, soft and sweet and in my opinion really is a huge contrast from what I would expect to be housed in such a bottle.

They say to never judge a book by its cover or a fragrance by its bottle but its hard not to, and Gold Fresh Couture is nothing like I was expecting!

Elegant yet fun it’s the perfect fragrance for springtime; think sunny days and playful weekends!
