La Nuit Trésor by Lancôme could well have just jumped to the top of my all-time favourite fragrances list. 

Described as a gourmand woody floriental, this fragrance is complex, captivating and ultimately, utterly bewitching.

Named after the French word for "treasure", Trésor by Lancôme has been created as a declaration of love and represents flourishing emotions.

Captivating and stunning it’s impossible to speak about the scent without first addressing its exquisite bottle.

La Nuit Trésor’s bottle is shaped like a black diamond; mysterious and precious whose neck has been adorned with a black rose choker.

The hard, multi-faceted heavy glass diamond bottle contrasts with the silky softness of the rose choker, much like the fragrance within is a beautiful contrast of light and dark, softness yet power and floral yet fruity.

The scent opens with bursts of juicy raspberry, sweet lychee and bergamot before heart notes of  aromatic frankincense and Damascena rose create a softer yet enticing and deeper warmth.
