Emma Hardie Moringa Light Cleansing Gel

Give your skin a spring clean this month with the brand new Moringa Light Cleansing Gel from cult brand Emma Hardie.

This lightweight daily cleanser is formulated in one of my favourite ways for cleansers- melting!

This gel-cleanser smells incredible (think a spa!) and has been created to purify, hydrate and balance oily skin which is perfect for my skin type.

Housed within a tall elegant bottle it exudes luxury and indeed, the experience of cleansing with it is rather luxurious.

Gentle enough to refresh and revitalise your skin it simultaneously removes impurities and helps to protect your skin from environmental damage.

Containing a blend of Moringa and Sweet Almond Oil it offers a deeply nourishing element while Omega 6 and Vitamin E from Grapeseed Oil and essential fatty acids work to smooth, soften and moisturise.

Sea Fennel extract helps to improve the barrier function of the skin an restores the water balance while Moringa seed peptides protect skin from pollution.

The result is soft, beautiful, purified skin that glows with health.

I am so in love with this cleanser! Slightly yellow in tone and jelly like upon initial application, when applied and massaged into wet or dry skin it transforms into a silky almost oil like texture which works to break down make up and daily grime and dirt.

Its actually been described as a ‘Spa in a jar’ and id say that’s pretty darn accurate thanks to its familiar soft citrus scent.

Once massaged in, simply use warm water to emulsify the gel, turning it into a milky cleanser which gently removes impurities without stripping your skin.

Using this cleanser makes me look forward to my morning and evening cleanse!

Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil

I love a facial oil.

Super nourishing and hydrating they are the perfect addition to your skincare regime for when the winter months creep in, the weather gets colder, the central heating clicks in and it all wreaks havoc with your skin.

A particular favourite of mine is the Emma Hardie Brilliance Facial Oil (£39).

Suitable for all skin types but particularly those who suffer with dry or dehydrated skin this lightweight facial oil complex features a blend of nine essential oils and plant extracts to help promote your skins elasticity, strength and radiance.

Super hydrating and nourishing the treatment works to condition and reconstruct your skin to enhance its resilience and protect from environmental damage.

The oil itself possesses the most beautiful aromatic scent. Rich and decadent its aroma swirls, capturing your senses and relaxing your mind.

Palma rose, orange, mint, vanilla, geranium, chamomile, lemon, rose and lavender replenish moisture and re-balance your skin while Omega 3 helps restructure the skin and promote elasticity.

Camelina oil offers powerful antioxidant properties to protect the skin from environmental aggressors and Moringa seed (the ingredient at the heart of Emma’s range) which is a source of skin essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidant rich phytonutrients helps to rehabilitate dull, tired looking skin.

Designed to be used under a moisturiser on freshly cleansed skin, apply a few drops and smooth over your face with your fingertips, gently massaging it into your skin.

The gorgeous scent lingers on even after the oil has been absorbed and you can instantly feel how soft and moisturised it has left your skin.

I suffer with oily skin so I only tend to use a small amount of oil but you can up the drops depending on how dry your skin is.

I particularly like to treat myself to this oil at night-time, where I allow my skin to drink in all the goodness and recharge its batteries!

It is particularly good at soothing and repairing dry chapped skin which I suffer with around my nose from where I’m constantly blowing it thanks to kids and their winter colds which they kindly share with me!

Emma Hardie’s Brilliance Facial Oil is available now and it costs £39 for 30ml.

Emma Hardie Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream

Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream is the brand new vitamin c face cream from cult brand Emma Hardie.

This advanced anti ageing cream has been developed to help counteract and correct the visible signs of ageing.

Since I turned 30 looking after my skin better had become of paramount importance to me. I’m not getting any younger and I want to try and preserve and protect my skin’s health and youth for as long as possible!

This face cream is my new best friend in that quest thanks to its powerful yet gentle and effective range of ingredients which worth together to leave my skin feeling soft and looking luminous.

There are two products within this new range, the Moisture Boost Vit + C Cream (£45) and the Intense Daily Serum (£49) and today I’m talking about the cream.

This luxurious cream is described as a ‘treatment’ and I can see why.

A whole host of skin loving ingredients are delivered to the skin in an encapsulated timed-release delivery system, helping to improve the appearance of age spots while strengthening and brightening the skin.

The cream contains the following;

Vitamin C (2%): Helps to suppress the production of melanin, reduces the appearance of pigmentation, dark spots and promotes collagen production for a firmer, smoother skin and reduces skin redness.
Vitamin B3: A skin brightening peptide that helps to minimise the appearance of uneven skin tones and skin discoloration while helping to promote a uniform complexion, refines the pores and boosts moisture levels.
Red Algae extract: Helps to reverse UV damage, contributing to a more luminous and refined complexion.
Sweet Almond Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Sesame Seed Oil and Organic Evening Primrose Oil: Provides moisture, regenerates and nourishes while Moringa Seed extracts helps to purify and protect against pollution.
Pumpkin enzyme: Promotes cellular renewal without sensitising or irritating the skin.
Anti-ageing Coenzyme Q10: Enhances the skin’s natural antioxidant defence by protecting against free radicals and helps to provide a visible effect on the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

It is deliciously thick and creamy and smells absolutely beautiful! Despite its creaminess its not at all greasy and absorbs quickly leaving your skin feeling immediately more plump, refreshed and pampered.

I’ve been using it twice daily for two weeks and I’ve really noticed a difference in the softness of my skin as well as its ‘brightness’, if that makes any sense?

Without make up, my skin looks more healthy and bright, even with the eye bags associated with having two small children!

I’m really impressed with this cream and I’m addicted to its soft, gentle scent which is a treat in itself!

Emma Hardie’s Moisture Boost Vit+C Cream is available now and costs £45.
