Caudalie Vinexpert Broad Spectrum Radiance Day Cream

Caudalie Vinexpert Broad Spectrum Radiance Day Cream is a truly beautiful face cream, but it is so much more than just a lovely cream.

It’s packed full of super duper anti ageing properties, courtesy of the humble (or perhaps not so humble) grape.

To explain briefly, grapes contain a substance in their shoots called Vine Reservatrol. This molecule contains some wonderful anti ageing properties and in 2001, Caudalie proposed all the anti-ageing and firming benefits of Vine Resveratrol for the first time, with its Vinexpert line.

This clever little grape shoot extract has the ability  to re-densify and activate cell renewal and stimulate collagen production.

Fast forward to 2014 and Caudalie researchers carried out a new European wide test to show the efficiency of Vine Reservatrol.

Its safe to say the study was a resounding success with 92% saying their skin was smoother,
84% said their skin quality was improved and 81% said their skin looked younger.

Those are pretty high percentages!

So, onto the cream itself.

The cream is  thick, velvety and a very pretty, sheer pink colour.

It has a lovely gentle, fresh and rejuvenating scent which i found very pleasant.

Though it says it’s designed for dry skin, I actually found it was perfect for my combination/oily skin, with it being absorbed quickly leaving no greasy residue.

Containing SPF 15, the cream left my skin feeling soft and nourished and found that it worked as a pretty great base for my foundation too.

In terms of combating wrinkles, it’s probably a bit too early to tell, though I would certainly say that my skin feels firmer since using it and dare I say, more radiant?

The Caudalie Vinexpert Broad Spectrum Radiance Day Cream is available now along with the rest of the Vinexpert range and costs £39.

New Hand & Nail Creams From Caudalie

Hand cream is a beauty essential in my opinion, especially in winter and I’m never without one in my hand bag.

Always on the hunt for a super nourishing and non greasy cream, I was thrilled to come across these these lovelies from the gorgeous French brand Caudalie.

Each hand and nail cream has been inspired by the different grape varieties found at Caudalie’s founder, Mathilde Thomas’ family vineyard, Château Smith Haut Lafitte

It’s a cute little personal touch that I love about this brand, the story behind each product!

 The new trio comprises of;

Pamplemousse Rose, A gorgeous, pink grapefruit fresh smelling cream inspired by Sauvignon.

Miel de Vigne, A sweet, mellow smelling cream inspired by Cabernet

Feuille de Cassis, A berry scented cream inspired by Merlot.

Each cream is rich in anti-oxidant grape Polyphenols, avocado and shea butters and contains 98% natural ingredients.

Personally Pamplemousse Rose is my favourite thanks to its fresh and clean smelling fragrance.

The cream itself is deliciously thick yet is absorbed into your skin quickly, with no hint of greasiness and leaves your hands feeling soft and nourished.

Each 30ml cream costs just £6, but you can treat yourself (or someone else if you’re feeling kind) to a gift set of all three for just £12!

The three hand and nail creams are available now from Caudalie.
