God Is A Woman is the striking new fragrance from pop sensation Ariana Grande.

Following on from her success with her previous fragrance launches, God Is A Woman is a somewhat more mature, light and fresh scent than its predecessors.

 

Inspired by the power of nature, it is composed of 91% naturally derived ingredients, is 100% vegan, cruelty free and even the bottles outer sleeve is made from 60% plant-based/ sustainable materials.

Unlike the overly feminine girly and whimsical bottles of the past, God Is A Woman offer a more striking, contemporary, almost futuristic looking vessel.

 

A simple yet elegant rectangular glass bottle safely holds the violet-coloured nectar inside and is in turn nestled within a natural toned, reusable sleeve.

This addictive fragrance opens with soft notes of juicy pear and ambrette before melting into a sensual floral heart of Turkish rose petals and luxurious divine orris.

 

Base notes of sweet, warm Madagascan vanilla and creamy cedarwood envelop the fragrance in a soft, comforting veil that lingers on your skin.

 Sensual and soft, fresh and light, sweet but not saccharinely, it is a truly uplifting, exquisite scent which is perfect for everyday use.

 This could be my favourite Ariana Grande scent to date but to be honest, all of her fragrances are right up my street!

 R.E.M. Is the latest new scent from pop icon Ariana Grande.

Inspired by her love of space and the universe, it is an uplifting and luxurious fragrance to make you feel like you can go forth and conquer the entire galaxy.

As with all of Ariana’s scents, the bottle is simple divine.

 

 

I say bottle, what I mean is the vessel that the bottle sits in.

The R.E.M. bottle itself offers a stark contrast to its presentation stand with its soft, circular edges, and elegant, feminine lavender juice radiating from within through the clear, transparent glass.

The bottle sits within what can only be described as a crystal holder.

 

 

Multi-faceted and dazzling, the crystal element is reflected in the cap on the bottle too which twinkles and shines as it catches the light beautifully.

Crystals and precious gems are often the centre piece of a fragrance, perhaps with the bottle itself being created to resemble one but not with R.E.M.

 

 

Despite its relatively simplistic design, it is the fragrance that takes centre stage in this story, emerging from its precious crystal chamber to enchant the world.

I love the way that the fragrance is regarded as so precious that it uses crystals to protect itself, holding itself more important and beautiful than these naturally occurring treasures of the earth.

The fragrance as you may expect, is simply wonderful.

 

 

Described as a floral, woody musk it is both bold and elegant, soft and edgy.

It’s here that you can see how the outward interpretation of the fragrance (contrasting the smooth and soft textures with ragged and multi-faceted elements) reflects its sumptuous notes.

R.E.M. begins its fragrant journey with addictive, gourmand notes of juicy fig, quince, warm salted caramel and soft, sweet marshmallow.

 

 

Heart notes of sparkling pear blossom and dreamy lavender burst onto the scene like a supernova before base notes of intoxicating white musk, aromatic tonka bean and creamy sandalwood wrap their arms around the elements to create an elegant, soft depth.

Empowering, elegant and undeniable feminine, it is probably the boldest of all of Grande’s scents to date and is simply out of this world.

Ariana Grande Thank U Next

Thank U Next is the fabulous new fragrance from global phenomenon Ariana Grande.

Taking its name from her iconic song about moving on with your head held high following a break up, Thank U Next is a playful, feminine scent which is full of attitude and sass.

Created as a reflection of Ariana’s personal and professional journey, Thank U Next is all about going out and getting what you want. It’s about growing from the past, living life on your own terms and not being afraid to say THANK U, NEXT!

I love the cool, confident and empowering message that goes along with this fragrance and in true Ariana style, the bottle that houses the scent is as striking as the juice within!

Bursting out from a soft, matte, baby pink heart is the sleek, bold fragrance itself.

Shattering through the boldness of the heart the delicate, chic, pink glass bottle features a crystalline cap embossed with XOXO.

I love the multi textured elements of the bottle, reflecting the multi-faceted aspects of the Thank U Next woman and the imagery of the fragrance breaking the heart in two, showing that no matter what, your true self, confidence and self-belief will always fuel you and remain intact.

The fragrance itself opens with notes of juicy white pear and refreshing raspberries. Sweet, radiant and delicious they soften with a heart of creamy coconut and delicate, feminine pink rose petals.

Base notes of velvet musk and delectable macaroon sugar wrap the scent in a comforting gourmand warmth, creating a fragrance that is undeniably playful, feminine and uplifting.

Whimsical and soft it is a really beautiful, delicate scent that balances just the right amount of sweet with floral, leaving a scent which is both elegant yet lighthearted.

Ariana Grande Cloud

I’m not big on celeb fragrances (unless its Britney Spears Fantasy because BOY do I love that) but that said, I’ve yet to try an Ariana Grande fragrance that I haven’t liked.

Cloud is her fantastically magical, captivating and eye catching scent and I when I heard it described as a floral, fruity, gourmand scent I knew this was gonna be for me.

Now let’s address the elephant in the room. Sleek, chic and classic this fragrance bottle is not. But this is an Ariana Grande scent, it was never going to be anything other than captivating, remarkable and unique and actually, I really rather love it!

 Inspired by optimism and hope, the dreamy new bottle deliberately stands apart from her existing fragrances with its artistic expression of positivity and happiness from Ariana directly to her fans.

Who knew fragrances could be so deep eh!

So onto the fragrance itself. Firstly let me just say, I LOVE IT. Yes it requires capitals because I like it that much.

Addictive and dreamy nots of juicy pear, alluring lavender blossom and mouth-watering bergamot give way to heart notes of the most delicious crème de coconut, indulgent praline and exotic, sweet vanilla orchid.

Sensual musks and cream woods then envelop the entire experience leaving a fragrance that is as soft and sweet as marshmallows, as delicate as cashmere and as soft as a warm hug.

 It is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance as by far my favourite from Ariana. Yes it is probably aimed at teeny-boppers but it could easily be worn by a thirty-something woman like myself and no one would bat an eyelid.

Iconic, beautiful and delightful Ariana Grande Cloud gets a massive thumbs up from me- plus its really reasonably priced.
