Pink Parcel

Let’s be honest, getting your period every month can quite often suck.

I know that I find myself moody, hormonal, tired, craving chocolate and generally just feeling a bit rubbish.

The good news is that Pink Parcel are here to cheer you up at the time in the month when you most need a bit of TLC!

Pink Parcel is a luxury femcare subscription box that unites periods and pampering to make your time of the month fuss-free and fabulous!

Delivered to your door each month on a date of your choosing, you’ll receive a box packed with sanitary wear of your choosing along with a range of edible treats, pamper bits and beauty products guaranteed to put the smile back on your face.

All you need to do is select your period essentials like pads and tampons from your favourite brands, and Pink Parcel will do the rest!

I think this is a fabulous idea!

For just £12.99 a month you’ll get all the femcare products you’ll need plus a host of goodies that will make you look forward to your time of the month rather than dread it!

In fact, the box totals over £40 worth of products so you’re getting a bargain too.

The box itself is small enough to fit through your letterbox so you won’t need to faff around collecting it from the post office if you are out and it’s really prettily presented.

This month’s box contained a host of fab beauty goodies including an MUA LUXE Whipped Velvet Blush, a gorgeous Trifle cosmetics lippie and an Urban Veda cleanser.

I adored the Raw Halo Mylk & Pink Himalayan Salt chocolate bar (because lets face it, chocolate is a necessity when you’re on your period!) and the sample of Boost Raspberry & Pomegranate green tea.

Its such a fantastic concept I cant believe it’s taken me this long to find them!

As subscription boxes go Pink Parcel is great because you aren’t locked into a contract and you can cancel at any time.

I actually reckon this could make a pretty cool Christmas Present for a friend as you know you’ll putting a smile on their face every single month!

Pooch Pack!

Ok, so I’m well aware that this Isn’t a beauty related post, but it’s such a fab idea I had to share!

For all of you peeps with pooches, Pooch Pack is essentially a monthly subscription box full of goodies for dogs.

From £16.95, every month your woofy will receive a box containing 5 or 6 surprise goodies
It works the same way as a beauty box subscription with the following steps;

First, choose your subscription from their 3 available options. You can subscribe month to month, every 3 or every 6 months and you can cancel at any time.

Next, tell them more about your special four legged friend, as they cater each box for your dog's size.

Finally, make your payment, sit back and wait for the box to be delivered. The value of each box will be more than you've paid and boxes are sent out around the 15th of every month.

Now, my pup (well he’s not a pup anymore he’s 5) is super pampered and I really liked the idea of this!

The only down side, it is quite expensive, but then as any pet owners will know, looking after and treating your dogs is an expensive business anyway.

You can order your own Pooch Pack from their website now.

A Box full of Beauty

There are 3 things in life that I love- Beauty products, surprises and receiving exciting things in the post! (ie not bills! )
You can imagine then my excitement when I found out about a brand new product and service which incorporates all 3 of my great loves!
GlossyBox is without a doubt one of the most innovative & original products I have seen in a long time.

For £10 a month, they will send you 5 luxury product miniatures , beautifully packed and presented in pink box for you to try at home. As if that doesn’t sound amazing enough, you can create your personal online beauty profile on their website and they will tailor your products to you, making your box as individual as you are! AND, delivery is free!

For £10 this really is a bargain, as after having a nose around their website I came across the ‘products’ page for their first box, May 2011. The price of the items which were included in the £10 box totalled more than £100 ( granted there are only miniature sizes in the box) but still I have no doubt that for £10 you are getting great value for money.

Ive put in my order for next months today and I am incredibly excited about my little surprise in the post!
