LCN Candy Eggs & Butterflies cube

Candy colours are set to be HUGE this spring and there’s no easier way to update your look than with your nails.

LCN Candy Eggs & Butterflies cube (£19.55)  is a gorgeous little set comprising of 4 candy inspired shades and a selection of teenie tiny butterfly and flower motif’s which stick onto your nails.

The 4 shades within the set are mint green, orange eggs, blue candy and coral butterflies (my favourite!)

Now, while the green, blue and coral seem to fit in really well and look gorgeous, I am not a big fan of the ‘orange’ shade.

I don’t know about you, but the colour reminds me of the cheese you get in burgers – luminous and un-natural!

The other shades though are undoubtedly gorgeous, and the polish is pretty good too!

I only needed two coats and the polish dried quickly.

I loved the cute mini butterflies and floral stickies that came with the set, but after putting them on and coating them in a clear top coat, I did find that they tended to peel and catch on my clothes which got on my nerves a bit.

Transfers would probably be better, but they’re cute all the same!

LCN Baked Apple Collection

One of the things I love about Christmas is that it’s the time of year where brands bring out gorgeous, nostalgic, Christmassy fragrance products.

Take LCN’s new Baked Apple collection for example.

 

The range is based on the seductive scent of baked apples with a hint of cinnamon.

Their Lip Gloss (£6.80) literally smells edible.

Encased in a super cute apple shaped pot, complete with green stalk, the gloss smells of warm, fruity, spiced apples and has a gorgeous red glossy look.

 It is deliciously gloopy when you dab your finger into it, yet is not too sticky and leaves your lips feeling moisturised and adds a hint of colour to your look.

Now their hand cream (£7.55) is literally to die for. I wish they made this in a body butter because I would slather it all over myself and indulge in the gorgeous scent!

The cream is light but hydrating, non greasy and sinks into your skin quickly.

You are then left with the gorgeous smell which lasts for ages!
