As my ongoing battle to slow down the effects of age on my
skin rages on, as does my quest for the perfect eye cream.
One of my current faves is the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Age
Support Eye Cream (£39) (yes it’s a bit
of a mouthful right!)
This thick, rich cream is a fabulous treat for your eye area
and perfect for the forthcoming cold, winter months when your skin need just a
little more moisture and nourishment.
It contains natural oils of Moringa, Evening Primrose and
Rose Hip which help to nourish, moisturise and soothe the skin whilst Vitamin E
protects the skin against toxins and pollution.
It also features Hyaluronic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid Filling
Spheres which help to soothe, hydrate
and plump the skin whilst something called ‘Collageneer’ is meant to help keep
your skin feeling firm.
This bad boy is literally packed full of face loving
ingredients with active peptides of Matrixyl 3000 to stimulate faster collagen and reduce the appearance of fine lines and
wrinkles while a Natural Polymatrix Algae Film Extract helps to lift the skin
for a more plump, healthier glow.
So basically it contains some impressive ingredients, but
does it work?
Well, I’ve been using it twice a day for around 5 weeks now
and I’m pretty happy with the results.
While the cream is both rich and thick, it’s not at all
greasy and is quickly absorbed into your skin.
(Be warned, you do
only need a small amount of product, a little goes a long way.)
While I wouldn’t say that my wrinkles and crows feet have
magically gone away, they certainly look better and definitely haven’t got any
worse.
In the morning I can actually see a difference in the texture of my skin
prior to and directly after application with my skin looking and feeling softer
and more awake.
One thing it does do a great job of is reducing early
morning puffiness under your eyes. I’ve actually been known to pop this in the
fridge over night for a more impressive, cooling and soothing hit for the
mornings when I really need a good pick-me-up!
Its not the cheapest product out there at £39 for 15ml, but
you do only need a small amount of product and it lasts for ages.
Plus, would you really put a price on younger looking skin (within reason obvs!)?
Didn’t think so!
The Emma Hardie Amazing Face Age Support Eye Cream is available
now from their website.
I'm in two minds about this product - I've been using it on & off for a few months & like it, but just don't love it for some reason - maybe I'm too heavy handed with it! xx

This sounds impressive! I love her cleansing balm so would definitely try this in the future but I love the eye creams I'm using at the minute!

When it comes to creams, Having oily skin the forst thing comes to mind is the greasy effect that it leaves. But this will absolutely work for me. Thanks!
