 I love scented candles (who doesn’t, am I right!) and one of the launches I most look forward to year in year out are Yankee Candle’s range of festive scents.

For me, there’s something comforting, familiar and oh so festive about burning a Christmas candle and filing my home with their sparkling, evocative scents.

Whether you enjoy the warmth of gourmand scents or the freshness of something more Christmas tree-esq, Yankee Candles have a scent for you.

 

 

My pick of their gifts this year is this stunning 3 Small Jar Candle Gift Set (£24.99).

Hidden within a festively decorated re-usable box featuring images of holly, spruce and gold stars you’ll find a trio of highly scented, seasonal candles to bring joy, fragrance and Christmas spirit to your home.

Red, white and green in colour to mirror the iconic colours of Christmas and nestled within a gold presentation box are three very different but equally gorgeous scents to dazzle and delight.

 

 

First up is Holiday Wreath.

Captured within the deep red of the wax you’ll find a truly comforting and warm scent.

Surprise by name surprise by nature as this candle offers a lighter, crisper fragrant experience.

 

 

Its light, bright whiteness hints at the scent ready to be awakened and brings you outside away from the fire into nature.

It opens with notes of fresh, vibrant verbena, rosemary and sweet elderberry while heart notes of wild moss and silver spruce create the experience of standing in a forest.

Base notes of Hinoki Wood, White Cedar further the outdoors element leaving a light, fresh and appealing fragrance.

Finally we have Singing Carols in all its dark, bewitching beauty.

 

 

It is a harmonious and intriguing combination of fruit, evergreen, and spice notes that together create an inspiring Christmas melody, hence its name.

Deep yet surprisingly fruity it contains top notes of sweet mandarin and aromatic eucalyptus before hearty notes of fir needle, juniper and spice clove burst onto the scent.
