GLAMGLOW GOOD IN BED Passionfruit Softening Night Cream

GOOD IN BED (£42) is the brilliantly named new night time cream from GLAMGLOW. 

This fruity, rich and decadent cream gets rid of dull, dehydrated skin while you sleep leaving you with a visibly brighter and healthier complexion by morning.

Described as a night cream I’d actually refer to it as a treatment due to the sheer nature of the way it works on your skin.

This passionfruit infused treatment features powerful yet gentle skin-exfoliating acids and skin-plumping Hyaluronic Acid to add hydration and soften skin while you sleep.

GOOD IN BED is actually powered by something called cationic technology. The formula carries a positive charge where as your skin is negatively charged resulting in a magnet effect where the formula hugs your skin closely, resulting in maximum efficiency.

Sounds very complicated but makes a lot of sense to be honest!

Harnessing the power of Passionfruit oil and squalene to nourish your skin a gentle yet effective blend of AHA, BHA, PHA acids start work on exfoliating your skins cells to ensure that come morning, dull skin is a thing of the past!

Packaged in the most vibrant and stunning red pot, the soft yellow tinted cream is super thick and rich in texture.

Despite its richness it is absorbed quickly leaving your skin feeling immediately softer and more hydrated.

It has a really pleasant, soft and sweet aroma of passionfruit it but it isn’t at all overpowering.

Unlike many cream which once absorbed leave your skin screaming for more moisture, you won’t find this with GOOD IN BED.

I guess the magnet technology really works because skin is left feel soft and super nourished for hours after application.

Charlotte Tilbury The Icon Palette

I’m not sure why but I was really shocked when I first saw Charlote Tilbury’s The Icon Palette (£55).

Perhaps it was due to the fabulous, eye catching yet brightness of the packaging, or when moment I saw a bright blue shadow within the palette but either way I wasn’t expecting such a product to be produced from such a brand.

My god I’m glad they did it!

This 12 shade palette truly is "electric star quality in a palette" Charlotte Tilbury.

If you’re already a fan of Charlottes 4 coded luxury palettes you’ll have some idea of what to expect with the Icons Palette and I’m pretty sure if you haven’t decided you want it, you’ll want it by the end of this post.

This exquisite palette quite clearly pays homage to the eccentric and brilliant David Bowie, with his iconic red and blue lightning bolt taking center stage on both the front of the packaging and the palette itself.

Inside this gorgeous piece of art-pop you’ll find 12 highly pigmented rainbow shades, each of which has its own column to create a 'Day', 'Date', 'Diva' or 'Disco' eye look. 

There’s everything from shimmering greens to rich bronzes in this bad boy making the possibilitu of your looks endless.

Each look (Day, Date, Diva or Disco) combines three shades that you can layer from ‘1' on the top row which they refer to as a primer to 2, an enhancer and then to 3, smoke.

Its’ great for novices or people like me who aren’t always sure what colours go with what or which colours should be applied first so I think it’s a great addition to the palette.

If you hadn’t gathered by now that sometimes even people like me are pratt’s that get it wrong you can tell from my swatches!

I’ve swatched from left to right starting on the top line then moving to row two then three.

There are some seriously stunning shades within this palette and even though it’s been created in honour of the king of OTT, you can still create soft, subtle and pretty day looks despite the at first scary looking blues and greens!

Every single rich molten colour can be used both wet or dry depending on the look you’re trying to create and are so beautifully soft, silky and luxurious to touch and apply.

Highly pigmented and rich in emollients for a velvety-smooth, soft finish (yes even the softer shades pack a punch!) the shadows neither flake nor transfer meaning the look you start with is the look you’ll get at the end of your day/night.

Yes, I’m defiantly a more nude, subtle person when it comes to eyeshadows but there is no denying that the Charlotte Tilbury Icon Palette is simply stunning.

(Oh and just to let you into a little secret, I actually really loved the jade green and royal blue shades despite probably not being brave enough to wear the blue!)

Morgan Taylor The Colour of Petals Collection

 Step into a floral bouquet this spring with Morgan Taylor’s beautiful new The Colour of Petals collection.

Inspired by the soft and subtle colours of the gorgeous petals that are beginning to bloom at this time of year the polishes provide the perfect colourful yet subtle springtime look.

The collection comprises of six shades from plush pastels in shades of pretty pinks, toned-down nudes and pops of creamy peach and muted purples.

CEO and founder Fanny Haile says;

I feel like this collection could have been made for me. I don’t tend to wear nail polish on account of the issues I’ve had with dermatitis on my hands (long story, lets not go there but hence why I haven’t swatched on my nails) but when I do I’m all about the pinks and nudes!

It’s actually almost impossible to choose my favourite shade from this range and this never happens with complete collections!

They look truly stunning to regard, heavy glass bottles with a soft grey lid embossed with MT on the very top.

When I went to photograph them I actually struggled to tell some of the shades apart when lining them up they are that soft and subtle and it isn’t until you see their true colours swatched that you can see and appreciate their real beauty.

Merci Bouquet

Up first is the stunning lilac crème shade Merci Bouquet. I mean, it’s a gorgeous soft lilac which is almost pastel in softness.

Gardenia to my Heart

Next is Gardenia to my Heart, a dusty rose crème which I THINK could be my favourite shade. It’s the perfect blend of dusty pink and nude and just gorgeous!

I feel Flower-ful

I Feel Flower-ful is described as a light nude crème but I’d actually say this is closer to a very soft, pale pink and definitely fought my affection for first place in terms of preference of colour.

Young, wild and Free-sia

Young, Wild and Free-sia is the brightest of the collection with its soft peach tones. I’d describe it as a pastel coral, if there is such a thing!

Follow the petals

Follow The Petals is the only pearlised polish in the collection and is a distinctly pearly pink shade, brightest of all the other pinks and lightest in colour for sure.

Strike a posie

Last but by no means least is Strike a Posie, a very pretty blush pink shade. It’s the truest pink of the range and is a really gorgeous pastel addition to round off a stunning collection.
