Lindt Lindor Shell Easter Egg

We all have our favourite brand of Chocolate and if you’re a bit of a chocoholic, like me, then you’ll understand why Easter excites me so!

Whatever the brand is that you love you can guarantee that they’ll be bringing out a plethora of yummy goodies for Easter.

One of my favourite chocolate brands is Lindt and I have a bit of an addiction to their Lindor Milk Truffle chocolates.

If you haven’t tried these little balls of pure joy before you are SERIOUSLY missing out.

Each truffle features a delicious Lindt milk chocolate shell and contains a deliciously smooth and soft filling that melts in your mouth. To say they are moreish is a huge understatement!

For that reason my Easter Egg of choice this year is the Lindt Lindor Shell Egg.

Presented beautifully this large hollow milk egg is wrapped in the brand’s traditional and familiar colours of gold and vibrant red, with a cute neat bow wrapped around the middle of the egg.

There are also 8 mini Lindor Easter Egg truffles, which feature the same delicious filling as the original spherical Lindor’s.

It’s a beautifully presented Easter Egg but lets be honest, when it tastes THAT good It really doesn’t matter to me how its packaged!

Get your Lindt Lindor Shell Egg now for £10.99.

Meet SheaMoisture

You may not have heard of a brand called SheaMoisture so please allow me the pleasure of introducing you to it.

This U.S. natural beauty brand create beauty products that are organic, sulfate free, paraben free and cruelty free.

They contain no paraffin or mineral oils and are made with love while pioneering fair trade through community commerce at home and abroad.

Sounds good huh? Well they’ve just launched four collection from their award winning hair care range in Boots so I figured I ought to give them a try!

I expected both the shampoo and conditioner to have a rich, sweet scent to them, I’ve no idea why but I was surprised to discover that they barely had any scent at all, which was fine by the way it just surprised me.

Despite being designed for damaged hair the shampoo is surprisingly light, not heavy at all and gently lathers leaving your hair feeling clean and soft without being stripped and squeaky.

It contains trace minerals from Sea Kelp help to detoxify and remove impurities and residue and argan oil  with shea butter to nourish your scalp and hair.

The conditioner reminded me of a body lotion, not just because of its pump dispenser but in texture too which worried me to begin with!

It is rich, thick and creamy and features the same nourishing ingredients as the shampoo. I applied it through the ends of my hair sparingly, left it for a few mins then rinsed off.

One of the things I noticed immediately after using both products was how soft my hair felt. I always struggle to get a brush through my damp hair to some extent but I actually found it somewhat easier after using this duo.

Once my hair was dry it DEFINITELY felt softer, particularly at the ends which can often be a tad fried and frizzy.

I normally enjoy heavily scented haircare products but I found myself enjoying the clean and fresh scent that this shampoo and conditioner gave me instead.

After using both products for a week or so I also noticed that while I don’t suffer with dandruff I do occasionally get some dry, flaky patches on my scalp. Well I’m pleased to say that these were far less noticeable, undoubtedly helped by the gentle formula and nourishing ingredients within the shampoo and conditioner, which I think is pretty impressive.

Now, the crazily long named Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Multi Benefit Hair Masque is a BIG winner in my home now and has quickly become one of my must have beauty products, which surprised me because I normally don’t bother with hair masks.

This intensive, antioxidant-rich treatment has been designed to help with an array of haircare issues.

It is designed ultimately to treat damaged hair while providing anti-aging benefits, color protection, hydration, nourishment, rejuvenation, strength, anti-stress, deep conditioning, softness and shine.

Anti ageing for your hair? Who knew! It is meant to be able to counteract the signs of aging by nourishing your scalp with a Superfruit Complex and infusing your hair with ultra-moisturizing Marula Oil and Biotin.

The mask contains a fruit complex blend of Red Raspberry Ketone, Goji, Acai and Guava Extracts rich in anti-aging antioxidants. It also contains Marula Oil with its natural plant peptides to help support hair’s elasticity and Biotin to nourish individual strands for thicker, stronger hair.

Now this product does have a fragrance and it is beautifully light, fresh and fruity, everything I like!
It is creamy and thick and easy to use- just apply to the length of your hair, leave for 5 mins then rinse off.

My hair was left feeling beautifully soft and nourished and once dried, shiny, sleek and not at all weighed down.

It is a real pleasure to use and I’ve been dipping in once a week to a give my hair a bit of a boost.

So, if you enjoy natural products free from nasties and exploring new brands then head over to Boots now to take a look at this trio long with the rest of the collection.

Emporio Armani Diamonds Trio

I’m not sure why it’s taken so long for me to discover these beautiful fragrances but better late than never right!

When you see a fragrance named ‘Diamonds’ you know you’re in for something a little bit special and these three lovely scents from Emporio Armani do not disappoint.

Considering they all come from the same fragrance family they are surprisingly and pleasantly very different from one another.

Firstly there’s the original Diamonds EDP, a fragrance which is said to be inspired by both the past and present, the traditional and modern.

I’d say that’s a pretty great way to describe this fragrance which seems to possess the perfect blend of sweet, musky and floral notes, intertwined to create a unique and appealing scent.

Emporio Armani Diamonds features top notes of Lychee and Raspberry which offer a deliciously fresh and fruity introduction before floral notes of Rose, Lily of the valley, patchouli and freesia peep through.

Base notes of Vetiver, amber and vanilla then add a touch of warmth and muskiness to the fragrance creating a gorgeous sweet yet sophisticated and floral scent.

Next up is Diamonds Violet, possibly my favourite out of the trio for several reasons.

While I love the design of the three matching bottles, all of which resemble precious gems in my opinion, the pretty violet hue to the fragrance of Diamonds Violet really catches my magpie eye as it glints within its multifaceted bottle!

That’s not all though, I adore its sweet, addictive and rich scent featuring base notes of praline which as you can imagine, create a smooth, sweet and delicious tone to the scent.

Diamonds Violet opens with notes of raspberry, lychee and passion fruit, followed by heart notes of Rose absolute, freesia and lily of the valley- very similar notes to Diamonds.

It features the same base notes of amber and vanilla but also has scrummy praline thrown into the mix.

The result is a far sweeter, warmer and in my opinion, addictive scent.

Finally we have Diamonds Rose, the latest addition to the collection and unlike Violet and Diamonds is an eau de toilette rather than an eau de parfum.

As you can imagine this means that this scent is a fresher and lighter interpretation of the original, but equally stunning.

It is a sweet, light bubbly scent, the prosecco of the trio and the most universally appealing I think.

Diamonds Rose opens with notes of juicy blackcurrant, raspberry and bergamot before heart notes of Lily of the valley, Bulgarian rose and freesia accord take over.

Base notes of patchouli, ambret seeds accord and woody amber accord complete the fragrance and offer a delicate soft tone without being overpowering, heady or heavy.

It’s a truly gorgeous, light fragrance that is perfect for spring and sunny days and its pretty pink hue is enough to turn heads, well, it certainly turned mine!

Diamonds are a girls best friend and the Diamonds trio certainly live up to this saying with a fragrance for every type of woman!

You can buy Emporio Armani Diamonds (£52 for 50ml), Diamonds Violet (£38 for 50ml) and Diamonds Rose (£38 for 50ml) now from Boots.
