Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush

This summer Urban Decay have launched a collection of 12 stunning blushers to help you get the perfect summery look.

Whether you’re after a soft nude or a bright, vibrant orange, Urban Decay’s new collection has got it sorted!

Say hello to their Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush, designed to offer eight hours of wearable, buildable colour.

 There is a blusher for everyone in this collection and trust me, after you’ve tried one you’re going to want them all.

I had the pleasure of trying one in the shade Quiver (love the name by the way!) which is labelled as medium red.

Firstly, I love the super shiny, gun metal grey compact (despite it being a bugger to photograph!) and the cut out fish net ‘UD’ on the lid. 

It doesn’t just look cool, it also allows you to see the colour of the blush within which is pretty handy if you have several from the same collection, saving you time rooting through them all to find the one you want.

Now, onto the blush itself.

Ok, yes It looks REALLY bright in the compact and that’s because it is.

However, because of its super soft, finely milled, blendable texture it is possible to create both a subtle and more vibrant look.

I cannot convey to you just HOW silky soft the powder is. It’s an absolute dream to work with and thanks to the formula being infused with light diffusing pigments it helps to enhance and perfect your complexion all at once.

It blends beautifully and can be built up for a stronger look without looking heavy and cakey.

Despite being initially scared of this colour Its currently my favourite blush and looks stunning with a red lip!

Ghost Eclipse and Deep Night Duo

This summer Ghost have got your all your fragrance needs sorted with their very cool fragrance duo.

The brand have very cleverly paired two of their gorgeous scents allowing you to go from day to night seamlessly!

I love the matching crescent moon bottles with Eclipse’s gorgeous, warming orange contasting perfectly with Deep Nights sulty deep purple.

I’m very much of the opinion that difference fragrances are appropriate for different times of the day and rarely wear the same fragrance in the evening so this is right up my street.

It’s also a great price too, just £34 for both fragrances which is pretty bargainous!

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil is one of those hero products that everyone really should try. 

One is sold every 10 seconds globally, which I’m sure you’ll agree is pretty darn impressive, but what’s so great about it?

Lets start at the beginning. There’s a chance you aren’t familiar with the brand and that’s because it is a Japanese company. In fact, its Japan’s number 1 direct skincare company.

That’s quite enough about the history of it all because I want to talk about their hero product, the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil.

This miracle oil completely dissolves all traces of dirt and cosmetics from your face, including waterproof mascara while nourishing your complexion with antioxidant rich (you guessed it) olive oil.

As with any cleansing oil it should be used on a dry face and with dry hands. Massage it onto your face before adding water to watch it emulsify into vitamin rich, milky fluid that leaves your skin feeling soft and nourished.

Now, I’ve tried quite a few cleansing oils and I’m a big fan of them, especially for those days when I can’t be faffed to remove my make up properly before cleansing (I know, I know its bad!).

 I can’t detect a fragrance with this oil, which I’m perfectly happy about and it’s deliciously rich and thick consistency makes massaging it into my face a pleasure. Its dense texture makes you feel like it’s doing a really great job of clinging onto the dirt and getting it out of your pores.

It really does a brilliant job of cleansing your skin and removing every single bit of make up and trust me, I checked. I swiped some cotton pads soaked in toner over my skin immediately after expecting to see just a bit of make up on the pad but I saw nothing.

Nothing at all. This oil got rid of it all and yet because it is such a gentle oil, it doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or dry after.

I can totally see why it is so popular!

Hotel Chocolat Fruit Bombes to Chill Giveaway
