Beauty Gift Sets From World Duty Free!

If you’re lucky enough to be jetting off this December to somewhere fabulous (or even not so fabulous) you may want to allow yourself some extra time at the airport to take a look at some of the lovely Christmas Gift ideas available from World Duty Free.

Clearly knowing that I wasn’t going to be jetting off to anywhere fun, fab or even boring this month the guys at World Duty Free very kindly sent me some of their gorgeous goodies to take a look at and to show you!

First up is the gorgeous L’Occitane Travellers Hand Cream Collection

Containing 4 different varieties of L’Occitanes award winning shea butter based hand cream, it is the perfect gift for pretty much anyone, including the menfolk.

My Dad LOVES L’Occitane hand cream as in his words “it’s nice and not oily!”  You’re not wrong Dad!

The 4 varieties in the set are;

Shea Butter Hand Cream (dry skin)
Velvet Hand Cream Rose 4 Reines
Cooling Hand Cream Gel
Cherry Blossom Hand Cream

Clarins is one of my fave brands and their Take Off Essentials set is perfect for so many things!

Fab for freshening up and staying gorge on flights, it also makes a really lovely introductory gift set to anyone yet to try Clarins.

The bag includes;

Beauty Flash Balm 15ml
Eye Contour gel 3ml
Hand & Nail Treatment Cream 50ml
HydraQuench Cream 30ml
One-Step Facial Cleanser 100ml
 Moisture Rich Body Lotion 30ml

It’s a great all rounder of a set and you may already know how much love I have for their Beauty Flash balm which you can read all about HERE.

This pretty set is the OPI Passport to Color.

Containing 6 mini OPI shades, which are ridiculously cute looking, it’s one of those sets that doesn’t actually contain any of those naff, filler shades!

The shades included are Passion, Tickle My France'y, Charged Up Cherry, Cajun Shrimp, Malaga Wine and Lincoln Park After Dark. I’m loving the look of Charged Up Cherry, really vibrant and cute!

Twinings Festive Infusions Loose Tea Tins are the perfect gift for any tea lovers, and may I say that the Christmas Thanks variety smells amazing!

It is a robust black tea blended with fruity Christmas cake flavour. I’m personally not a fan of crimbo cake, but if this tea tastes as good as it smells, I could be persuaded otherwise!

As for the Bottega Sparkling Wine, this bad boy will be put in my fridge until Baby B makes his/her arrival and I can celebrate in style!

All of these lovely gifts and many more amazing ones at fabulous prices are available from the World Duty Free shop at most UK airports now.

For a full list of locations click Here and if you are travelling this December, I’m well jel!

Elizabeth Arden's Prevage Anti-aging and Intensive Repair Eye Serum

On my never-ending quest to banish fine lines and crows feet around my eyes, I was led to a product by cult brand Elizabeth Arden.

Prevage is Elizabeth Arden’s highly potent range of anti ageing skincare products and I was really excited to try their brand new Anti-aging and Intensive Repair Eye Serum which boasts that is it ‘proven to reduce the sever signs of skin aging in just one use.’

A bold claim if ever there was one!

Developed in partnership with Bascom-Palmer Eye Institute, the leading centre for eye research and aesthetics, the New Prevage Anti-aging and Intensive Repair Eye Serum is designed to treat all eye ageing concerns as well as deliver immediate and long term benefits.

The new formulation combines Elizabeth Arden’s exclusive Idebenone technology, the single most powerful antioxidant, with a blend of something called Arazine™ and Thiotaine.

Arazine:  To soothe skin and help reduce signs of aging caused by inflammation.

Thiotaine: This is another effective antioxidant that complements Idebenone in protecting skin from free radical damage due to environmental assaults, allowing Idebenone to concentrate on repairing the look of signs of aging.

Ok sounds great, but does it work?

Well, when dispensed from it’s chic and sleek looking pump, the serum which is gold in colour, feels light and delicate.

It isn’t tacky or shiny and it isn’t thick and greasy. It absorbs almost instantly, vanishing into your skin and leaving it feeling soft, plumped and nourished.

One pump dispenses enough serum to use around both eyes, which you then gently smooth around the eye area twice a day.

Immediately my skin feels perkier and more awake, moisturised and fresh.

The serum actually creates a brilliant base for my eye make up too and I can see why in a clinical trial, 75% of women noted an improvement in deep and fine lines in just 15 minutes after use.

Now, the down side. This lovely eye serum will set you back a pricey £95.

Now I know this is a lot of money however you look at it, but you are getting a lot of product for your money, you only need a tiny amount each day and guys, this serum is one of the good ones that actually does work and make a difference!

Elizabeth Arden’s Prevage Anti-aging and Intensive Repair Eye Serum is available now and costs £95 for 15ml.
