Today I fancy, Pink hair!

Dianna
Agron Yesterday

Call me old fashioned, but when I saw Glee’s Dianna Agron this morning in the papers sporting hot pink hair I couldn’t help but want to cry out ‘why oh why!’

Dianna had gorgeous blonde locks, what on earth would possess her to dye her hair candy cotton pink?!

A new film role perhaps? A split second decision gone wrong maybe?

But then I thought back to a week or so ago when Katy Perry was rocking the very same look.

Kate Bosworth sports her new look

And then I thought about how Kate Bosworth came out with her long blonde hair, dip dyed green.

‘Maybe it’s me that’s missing something,’ I realised.

I started researching and realised that loads of celebs have hit the bright and colourful hair dye bottle, with some resulting in better effects than others.

Katy Perry, Lily Allen & Kelly Osbourne

Even Gwen Stefani rocked the pink back in the day & Nicki Minaj

The original Pink hair lover herself

What do you think? Who looks hot with candy flossy coloured locks and who looks a mess? Could you pull it off?

  1. I actually think Lily Allen looks really pretty with her hair pink- perhaps thats because she has a tan though? I deffinately couldnt carry it off and i dont think Diane can either....

  3. The washed out pink on Diane and Katy is awful... the bright pinks such as Pink's hair is fab!

  4. Pink hair looks kind of gross, a bit like a wig. I dislike it, especially with blonde roots. When it fades, its even worse!

  5. I rock pink hair (although it will be returning to my chosen shade of purple later this evening) and I think whether it suits totally depends on the individual. Diane's hair looks atrocious because it's very patchy and a rather unflattering shade. In general, I think very saturated, deep pink colours work better than candy floss shades.

The important thing with any hairstyle is that you go with what feels comfortable for you. It shouldn't matter whether it's in fashion or if the girl two doors down approves :)

  6. I think it makes Diane look like a rock-chick type thing, so it's good in that way! But I don't think it suits the rest of them, apart from Nicki Minaj. And that's just because she's Nicki Minaj!

  7. I think Dianna's hair is pink for Glee! The press got a picture of her and one of the other characters (Santana) and Santana was in her Cheerio's uniform, and Dianna had pink hair, so I don't know what's happening there, but it's for her role on Glee :)
I like it! But then I like pink hair..not so much Lily Allen's and Kelly Osbourne's though, that's too bright. I much prefer Katy Perry and Gwen Stefani's! I had a pink fringe when I was about 14/15, I loved it xx

  11. Dianna Agron tweeted this on Friday:
“Hey all! The pink is for work. Tried to keep it a surprise…so, that is all I will say! Thanks for all the nice comments on it! #barbiepink"

I think it looks terrible. Do I spot blonde roots on Katy Perry's do? Is she a natural blonde? Am I the only one just figuring this out now? lol.

  12. I love pink hair. If I could, I would, but unfortunately it doesn't suit me. I love it on both Gwen and Pink. I always loved Pink with her hair that color, was sad when it wasn't, lol. And I think the light pink on Gwen looks really pretty. But I agree that it should be something you choose to do because you like it, not just because it's the "in" thing. I also agree that it has to be done right, or it looks like a train wreck. :)
